23 days time the Urban Missions DTS begins after years of building our Urban Outreach and partnerships with local Church we are nearly ready to launch into DTS again..Karen at the Helm supported by Rob and myself , Paul . Applicants from North America, Central America, South America,Indonesia, England and Africa will make for an interesting cultural mix..we only lack an Australian/New Zealander for a “Full set” Lord let your will be done ..bring them all safely to us …The Adventure is about to begin

Friday mornings I am to be found in the “Big Blue” , a coffee shop that has been a place for the trendy kids and the city centre kids to mingle with a mutual dislike for each other. Now it is under new management and is heading  more towards the “French Bistro” feel and the clients have changed accordingly. However when in pain and needing to be heard the city centre kids bravely enter this now foriegn land looking for an ear that will listen without judgement or condemnation, a friend.  We sit and I listen, out comes their heart, broken , hurt and rarely seen unprotected by their street persona. I see the child feeling rejected trying to understand what is going on around them desperate for something that is “Safe” . To be able to even tell them of the God that loves them and wants them to know he will never leave them or foresake them, needs a whole lot of love demonstrated by being there for them, accepting them, and listening.  Paul.

What a week end!!!  The sun shone, the food was excellent and the 300 YWAMers were family together, gathering around God in the middle , worshipping, praying, learning, giving and loving being together.

There is something about YWAM that you just cannot discribe fully in words ..a sence of oneness and family that just knows where the other person is coming from when we recount our adventures with God…an unspoken knowing.

God spoke into our hearts challenging us to commit to the monster of an outreach that the London Olympics will be next year and also five key cities in central Europe…simple heart moving stuff…”Just Go”  cried out from our new banners ….do you want come with us too ?  Together, family, doing our thing..loving people with the Gospel wrapped in  practical help, a random  act of service that may change one , one hundred or maybe one thousand lives …go on …Just Go.
