The Way Family: Paul and Karen

Paul and Karen are leaders of YWAM Derby and are passionate about evangelism and the discipleship of those young people living on the edges of society, who do not know the love of God.
Paul has pioneered the Urban DTS in Derby and has a desire to see small evangelism/intercession teams planted in UK and Europe.
Karen is a life-coach. She enjoys coming alongside people and encouraging them in their life choices. She teaches the DTS’s that come through on various topics such as relationships, plumbline, quiet times and spiritual warfare.

Sumalee Phromtarawong

Sumalee has a passion for intercession. She is from Thailand and loves to show her heart for hospitality to others staying at our base. Sumalee is currently taking a sabbatical, seeking God as to what is next for her.

Bella Simpson

Bella is a smiling face that has served us for many years volunteering one day a week to work on our accounts. In early November 2008 Bella and Husband Aron became parents to Evelyn a beautiful baby girl.

Marta Valecillos

Marta comes from Venezuela.

Tim Pickin

Tim has been with YWAM Derby for 3 years and is, working in a tough urban community, parterning with a local church, sharing life and hope with young people who do not know Christ.
